PRODUCTION PHOTOS WITH RESEARCH
In this image of the Prologue: "When I Died...," Thoreau finds himself entrapped in humanizing conditions, lying in the entangled shadows of windows, trapped in his death bed, introspecting, faced with his owN reflection, in our Walden.

Thoreau finds love under the stars (Scene 2: Animal) and in Lidian's glow (Scene 10: The Lovers).  Both scenes are bathed in a serene blue providing an inviting  surrounding for Thoreau to express his true passions.

Space
It is Emerson's wife Lidian who emerges from Thoreau's mind in cherished
golden memories, strewn together to paint a portrait of a resilient woman.

Scene 7: The Predestined Marriage

space
The cold winter months in Emerson's home.

Scene 8: The Transcendalists
space
At the climax of Scene 8, an impassioned Thoreau torches his own manuscript, exuding a primal rage which effects and consumes the entire world of the play.  The emotions felt in this fever dream are externalized.
