CHRISTMAS CAROL 2004

LD: Lynne Koscielniak

How does the lighting function?

The lighting will transition seamlessly to transport us through space and time.

The Boy and his flashlight activate the storytellers.

When traveling with ghosts, Scrooge becomes consumed visually by the past, present and future.  It is not necessary to remove Scrooge and the Ghosts from the full stage lighting with spots or specials.  It is advantageous to visually incorporate them in to the time and place.

How do the projections function?

Options:

  • To indicate locale
  • To enhance the supernatural
  • To enhance universal themes
  • To depict how the boy and his ancestors visualize the story
